"Exhibition Advice E-Bulletin"
During the course of 2008 Clip will be running a series of E-Bulletins, giving you our first hand advice on how to get the most out of attending an Exhibition. Whether you are a first time or a seasoned exhibitor, we will ensure that there is relevant information for each of you by splitting the advice into 3 specific groups;
Spring - How to maximise your impact in a Shell Scheme stand. Summer - Helpful tips for exhibitors who take Space Only stands. Autumn - Project Management for large exhibition programmes and/or Exhibiting Overseas.
Each Exhibition topic will be split into a series of 4 or 5 weekly E-bulletins, offering useful nuggets of advice to help you maximise your Exhibition efficiency. Not a single text book or website has been consulted when putting these E-Bulletins together. All the titbits will come from a group of 8 Clip employees with a combined 67 years of experience in the Exhibition World. It's all from the "horses mouth" - but don't tell any of the Expert Panel we called them horses! Our first E-session will give advice to all exhibitors but will concentrate specifically on those of you who exhibit within a shell scheme stand. What will attending the Exhibition actually cost me, what costs should I include and how do I try and measure the show's efficiency? Week 2; What size stand space should I book and how can I dress it to make maximum impact? How should I split my budget to ensure that I allocate enough funds for all the relevant areas of exhibiting? Week 3; Attention grabbing graphic messages - the 3 second rule. How do I stand out from the crowd, what message should I put across? Week 4; Manning the stand - Why should people come onto my stand? Getting people from the aisles to your stand. How to man your stand and hit your show objectives.
