Poster scheme planned to boost social worker morale - Clip Ltd

02 Jul 2009

A new poster scheme that aims to boost to morale of social workers could result in the need for display stands around the country.

The Local Government Association''s (LGA) Respect and Protect initiative will see local authorities offered free posters that hope to enhance both the self-esteem of social workers and the image of the activities they undertake, web resource PublicNet reports.

Margaret Eaton, the chair of the LGA and a member of Bradford metropolitan district council, said that councillors want the workers to be proud when they tell people about what they do for a living, as they perform and important function within society.

She added: "It is partly down to councils to show they are proud of them as employees."

The LGA launched a campaign earlier this year to attempt to "respect, recruit and retain" child social workers, with a drive to enlist some 5,000 professionals into the service.

Clip offers a range of banner stands and pop-up stands to suit all your exhibiting requirements and budgets. Please click here for more information on our display kits.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19247977-ADNFCR
