ABI issues 2009 exhibition details

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has provided a range of details about its upcoming 2009 exhibition, which will feature a keynote speech from the Financial Services Authority''s Lord Turner, as well as a range of
exhibition stands.
Veteran broadcaster Alastair Stewart, who has presented on the ITV News Channel and the News at Ten, will chair the symposium and the organisation''s director general Stephen Haddrill will be on hand to provide an opening address.
Shadow chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne is also due to speak at the exhibition, which will take place on June 9th and is entitled Today''s Challenges, Tomorrow''s Opportunities.
A wide range of other industry figures have also confirmed their attendance at the event, including Paul Tucker, deputy governor for financial stability at the Bank of England and ABI chairman Archie Kane.
Other events the association is due to be involved in over the coming weeks and months include the ORIC 2009 Conference on June 26th.
