AIC provides new exhibition details

Exhibition stands are due to be set up on April 21st when the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) conference for directors gets underway.

From 09:00 BST the keynote speech by financial services secretary Paul Myners will take place, after which AIC director general Daniel Godfrey will review and discuss key issues.

Presentations will include one focused on a "prescription for the future" and be headed up by Cenkos Securities'' head of investment funds Charlie Ricketts, while Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management will give his view as a wealth manager on the current state of the sector.

The associate editor of the Times newspaper Anatole Kaletsky will also be in attendance and give the closing speech, focusing on the global economy and financial markets.

As a trade organisation for the closed-ended investment firm sector, AIC represents a wide range of companies including some listed on the Alternative Investment Market and the London Stock Exchange.
