Bath Book Fair the "West Country''s premier event"

Set to include a wide array of exhibition stands on books, prints and maps, the Bath Book Fair is the "West Country''s premier event", its organisers explain.

Due to take place on Friday April 17th between 14:00 and 18:00 BST, as well as 10:30 and 16:00 BST on Saturday April 18th, the showcase will be hosted by the Assembly Rooms on Bennett Street.

Admission costs £2 and there is full access for disabled visitors.

"It offers a unique opportunity to view and purchase from a wide range of stock which includes the old, rare and interesting," the organisers explain.

A range of exhibitors have already confirmed their attendance at the event, including Rochdale Book Company, the Canterbury Bookshop, the Old Children''s Bookshelf, Tony Yates Antiquarian Books and Modernfirsteditions.

The event is organised by Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association - an organisation founded in 1974 and which now has almost 600 members. It arranges around 100 book fairs on an annual basis.
