Development exhibitions announced by AMI

08 Apr 2009

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has announced the launch of a series of development workshops aimed at helping professionals practice and learn more about key sales skills.

Exhibitions stands are set to travel around the country so those in the sector throughout the UK can benefit from expert advice.

AMI director Robert Sinclair said the one-day sessions are intended to help advisers gain practical advice and an understanding of methods to improve their sales technique and knowledge base.

"Over time, we can forget the rules and acquire bad habits, sometimes meaning we miss opportunities," he explained. "We know our members need help at this time and these sessions will top up their skills."

The first session is scheduled for April 27th in Edinburgh, Scotland. News of the programme follows AMI''s recent response to the Turner Report, in which it said the scene was now set for a review of current mortgage regulation.

The organisation said it would soon be engaging in a discussion with the government on such matters.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19114319-ADNFCR
