Exhibition stands bring colour to school
03 Apr 2009
Springfield Art Museum in the US state of Missouri has been showcasing art work from local educational institutes, according to reports.
The colourful displays on the All School Art
Exhibition stands have been created out of paper, clay, paint, glitter and other materials, News Leader notes.
Everywhere in the museum is a collage of bright colours from talented young artists, it says.
The presentation is spread out over three galleries, with each containing work from children at different stages of the schooling system.
"In the high school gallery, students have found their strengths - and here we see art that still shows signs of experimentation but has also settled into what''s comfortable for the artist," the news provider describes.
The All School Art
Exhibition will continue until April 19th, with the museum open every day except Mondays.
Running alongside the schools display is a multi-cultural presentation, with exhibitions stands filled with works from African-American, Japanese-American, Hispanic, and Native American heritage.
