Fighter Training conference to swoop on London

SMi''s Fighter Training event will return for its tenth year - and will see
exhibition stands dedicated to people connected with advanced fighter pilot training.
The conference will be held at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington, London, between June 3rd and 4th.
According to organisers, the event is a "must attend" for users and experts connected with advanced fighter pilot training.
It will showcase the latest country-specific training programmes and provide information and updates on key technologies, as well as outlining tactical training for operations.
Representatives of the show say: "In this fast-paced environment, it is crucial for fighter training programmes to prepare pilots for the challenges of the modern battlefield.
Visitors to the event can ""gain the most up-to-date overview of international training methods and techniques".
Keynote addresses will be given by Wing Commander Bob Young, of the Royal Air Force AIR Command, Major Andrea Truppo of the Italian Air Force and Lieutenant Colonel Musa Mbhokota from the South African Air Force.
SMi''s Mission Planning 2009 conference will also take place at the same time and will assess the latest advances in mission planning. Presentations will range from operational to theoretical to technical.
The Copthorne Tara Hotel is accessible from the M4 with Heathrow Airport only 30 minutes drive - Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres are only a five-minute journey by car or bus.
