Internet World "important" for exhibitors
30 Apr 2009
The Internet World exhibition, which is currently taking place at Earls Court 2 in London, is considered to be important by many members of the industry, it has been asserted.
James Drake-Brockman, director of the show, explained that late last year, the event''s organisers were concerned that the ongoing effects of the global economic slowdown could impact on attendance.
However, he noted that many of the firms that are currently showing off their products and services on
exhibition stands at the event - including Smart Information Systems and Rackspace Hosting - consider the show to be a key part of their year.
"We''ve been very lucky in that the exhibitors have shown a lot of support, they still see it as something important to exhibit at," Mr Drake-Brockman added, noting that attendance was up 20 per cent on last year.
Internet World is due to finish today, having started on April 28th.
