New research to be showcased at investment event

New research on the initial findings from a study about mutual fund investor experience is set to hit exhibition stands next month in the UK capital.

More than 200 retail and institutional investment professionals are scheduled to show up at the Morningstar Investment Conference, which runs from May 12th to 13th.

Geoff Balzano is chief executive officer at the company and said due to today''s financial concerns, now is an "urgent" time for analysis and strategy.

"The conference offers a collegiate and welcoming environment in which to hear first-hand from industry experts and to share knowledge and discuss issues with peers from across the industry," he added.

Confirmed panellists, speakers and moderators include JP Morgan Asset management and Schroders'' head of UK equities Richard Buxton.

Also set to attend is Sanjeev Shah, who is the fund manager at Fidelity, as well as Alastair Mundy, fund manager at Investec Asset Management.
