Northprint "more than just an exhibition"
20 Apr 2009
Exhibition stands dedicated to the printing industry are due to be set up in Yorkshire this week, as Northprint 2009 takes place at the Harrogate International Centre (HIC).
The organisers of the showcase, which is scheduled to be held between April 21st and 23rd, explain a wide array of different events will occur over the course of the symposium.
These include seminars run by web resource PrintWeek, as well as business briefings organised by the British Printing Industries Federation and presentations by Proskills.
Issues set to be tackled include the current state of the sector, the impact of the global economic downturn, business best practice, funding, training and environmental impact.
"More than just an
exhibition, Northprint is the place where printers can build value in print by learning how to maximise efficiency with existing kit or by investing in new technologies," the coordinators conclude.
HIC offers eight
exhibition halls and its auditorium can seat 2,000 people.
