Oil & Gas UK Next Generation Conference takes place tomorrow

The 2009 edition of the Oil & Gas UK Next Generation Conference is due to begin tomorrow at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) in Scotland.

Exhibition stands, keynote speeches and networking opportunities will all form part of the symposium, which is due to take place between 08:30 and 17:00 BST.

The organisers of the event suggest it is an ideal platform for those who have "strong views" about how the oil and gas sector should respond to the altering aspirations of the new generation of business leaders.

According to the coordinators, the conference "provides a platform for people in the early stages of their career, from across a range of disciplines, to gather and debate the next generation''s views and expectations on current and emerging issues".

Speakers confirmed for the conference include Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo Lingerie and Yvonne Scott from Technip.
