Exhibition Stands News
RSVP NORTH 2009 party arrives
30 Apr 2009
Exhibition stands are currently in place for RSVP NORTH in Manchester.
Taking place at the Manchester Central Convention Centre until the end of today, RSVP NORTH 2009 is claimed to be the only exhibition dedicated to the corporate and special events industry in the north of England.
Over the past two days, the convention centre has become a hub for entertainers from caterers and florists to event management companies who want to make every event a spectacle.
This year the exhibition contains a Harvey Nichols Foodmarket Cafe and free workshops on fragrance design, wine appreciation, pottery and cocktail creation.
If that is not enough, there is a free goody bag for the first 50 pre-registered visitors to arrive on each day. The bag is full to the brim with chocolate, gym membership, vitamins and other goodies.
Organisers say anyone who plans events, corporate parties, product launches and private dinners should be there. While the brains behind award ceremonies, corporate gifts or fashion events will also find it to their liking.
RSVP NORTH 2009 also includes a separate entertainment stage with a whole host of acts including singers, comedians, dancers and magicians.
All of these will be introduced by Dani B, an Ali G, Borat and Bruno comedy tribute act who has been working the comedy circuit for almost a decade. He has been described as the closest you could get to Sacha Baron Cohen - without booking the original.
The Manchester Central Convention Centre will also host the British Insurance Brokers'' Association Conference and Exhibition 2009 between May 13th and 15th.
