28 Apr 2009
The 2009 edition of the ShipRepair and Conversion has begun today, with a wide array of
exhibition stands dedicated to the marine world on display.
Every aspect of vessel care, including supply, refurbishment, maintenance and refitting will be covered at the event, which is taking place in the London Olympia''s National Hall until April 30th, the organisers explain.
A number of working groups, seminars and conferences will take place alongside the main meeting, providing delegates with the chance to bring themselves up to speed with the many issues currently facing the sector.
The event coordinators comment: "As ever, ShipRepair and Conversion will be a unique chance to learn from the industry''s leading experts."
Bodies that have confirmed their attendance at the symposium include the British Contract Furnishing & Design Association, the European Cruise Council and the Passenger Shipping Association.
The London Olympia National Hall has an area of 8,730 sq m, room enough to house a large number of modular exhibition stands.
