AIC plans 2009 roadshows
24 Feb 2009
A series of roadshows aimed at helping investors update their knowledge of companies in the financial sector has been announced and is set to feature
exhibition stands from firms such as Murray International Trust and the Tora Partnership.
Organised by the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), the events are free and will provide an opportunity for private investors to ask a panel of experts - including Mail on Sunday financial correspondent Stephen Womack and Rodger McNair from Investors Capital Trust - any questions they may have.
In the middle part of the day, refreshments will be served alongside the
exhibition stands, prior to the Fund Manager Outlook session.
The four roadshows begin at the Mere Golf & Country Club in Knutsford, Cheshire on March 17th.
AIC operates as a trade organisation and was established in 1932.
It represents closed-ended investment firms and venture capital trusts as well as offshore closed-ended companies.
