Bayer CropScience to present at Weed Science Society of America

Bayer CropScience is set to present information on the chemical and biological properties of its herbicidal product indaziflam at the 49th annual meeting of the Weed Science Society of America, it has announced.

The trade show begins today (Monday February 9th) and is set to run until Friday February 13th at the Hilton hotel in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It is set to be attended by both industrial and academic scientists.

Included in the programme of events are the presentation of several reports, a number of meetings and a series of posters and exhibition stand displays.

Commenting, Bayer said: "Indaziflam is currently at an advanced stage of development. The company anticipates marketing the first products based on this active ingredient in 2011 - assuming that regulatory approval is granted."

The firm added it has a "strong position" on the worldwide herbicide market, adding it is a "leader" in the rice, sugar beet, corn and key cereals sectors.ADNFCR-2086-ID-19016340-ADNFCR
