Bayer to showcase at Fruit Logistica 2009

Bayer is set to showcase a wide range of partnerships with food wholesalers, exporters, importers and producers at the 2009 Food Logistica trade show, it has announced.
The event is scheduled to take place between February 4th and 6th in Berlin and describes itself as the "leading trade fair for the international fresh produce trade".
It states it gives market participants from fast-growing regions around the globe a chance to set up
exhibition stands and display their wares.
Bayer explains 2009 is the fourth year it has exhibited at the trade show and that its experts will be on hand to discuss and provide further information about food chain partnerships.
Dr Rudiger Scheitza, member of the board of management of Bayer CropScience AG, comments: "Integrated crop protection as part of a system of sustainable agriculture is vital if the industry is to fulfil consumers'' growing expectations in terms of food freshness and year-round availability."
