Caterex show ''proves successful''

11 Feb 2009

The 26th annual Caterex Exhibition took place in Skegness last week, with a total of 56 companies setting up more than 90 exhibition stands at the event.

Products and ideas for the catering and accommodation sectors were on display at the show, which took place at Richmond Holiday Centre.

Exhibitors from Wolverhampton, Edinburgh, Exeter and Croydon travelled to the event, with everything from cleaning materials to food suppliers and florists to solicitors on show.

Sponsored by Skegness, East Coast and Wolds Hospitality Association, the event was officially opened by councillor Neil Pimperton, the mayor of Skegness.

He said: "I am astounded by the stalls, the people and the atmosphere in Skegness today. This is the first Caterex I have attended and I hope it won''t be the last. Everyone here has been fantastic and I''d like to thank them all for their hard work," the East Coast Target reports.

The mayor also thanked all involved for their hard work.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19021203-ADNFCR
