Counting down to the CRS 2009

Exhibition stands, presentations and new products are being prepared for the Convenience Retailing Show (CRS), which is set to take place at the NEC in Birmingham next month.
Due to occur between Sunday March 1st and Tuesday March 3rd, the event is described as an "important date" in the diaries for a range of market participants, including independent retailers, off-licences and convenience stores.
Last year''s show attracted a wide range of individuals, 35 per cent of whom were owners, proprietors or partners in firms, with managers, managing directors and chief executive officers also attending.
The show''s organisers state: "CRS has been a major trade show in the convenience market and [the] 2009 show is planned to be bigger and better. We have invested heavily in the development of new areas, a new brand and more informative content in the live event areas."
Also set to take place at the NEC on the same dates is the International Forecourt and Fuel Equipment Show.
