GSK award nominations sought

Nominations for this year''s GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) International Achievement Award are being sought, it has been announced.
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) notes the winner will receive £1,000 in prize money, a commemorative award and an invitation to go along to the British Pharmaceutical Conference later this year.
Nominations are open to researchers working in public service, industry, the academic or any other scientific establishment, as well as individuals from these areas who are working collaboratively.
Submissions should be sent to GSK and include the resume of the principle researcher a summary CV of each team member (if applicable) and a round up of published work over the past three years, noting its importance to the pharmaceutical sector.
Nominations should be sent by March 31st.
In other news, the RPSGB recently held a meeting to discuss modelling the first Local Practice Forum in West Yorkshire. It was attended by more than 40 pharmacists.
