GSMA Mobile World Congress set for later this month

The GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009 is set to take place later this month, with exhibitors from around the globe set to show off their wares and discuss upcoming innovations in the industry.

More than 50,000 key decision makers are due to attend the event, which takes place in Barcelona between May 16th and 19th.

Presentations from industry figures and other notable individuals are set to take place, with actor and director Kevin Spacey, the co-founder of MySpace Chris DeWolfe and chief executive of Vodafone Vittorio Colao having confirmed their attendance.

Exhibition stands from leading market participants are also set to be part of the event, which is likely to result in numerous networking opportunities and the chance to discuss business strategies with sector experts.
