New sponsorship for iEXPO

Leicestershire-based company Pera is set to sponsor the first event in the East Midlands innovation Festival - iFestival - it has been announced.

The East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and East Midlands Innovation have worked with the firm to stage the innovation EXPO - or iEXPO.

The event, which is set to take place on March 10th, will see more than 100 businesspeople from around the region attending presentations and viewing exhibition stands on the importance of innovation in business.

John Hill, Pera chief executive, comments: "We''re really keen to see more companies and entrepreneurs embracing new ideas and new ways of working so that they become more efficient, effective and profitable."

The iEXPO tradeshow is one of around 100 events which will take place during the iFestival, which is set to celebrate the success of those who have embraced new ways of achieving their goals.
