RPSGB extends professional standards consultation
25 Feb 2009
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain has extended its consultation on changes to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians'' professional standards to noon on Thursday March 19th, it has been announced.
It was initially due to finish on Friday March 6th.
The extension has been implemented due to a technical issue with submitting online responses on the RPSGB''s official website.
Due to the error, those who responded before Friday February 20th have been asked to resubmit their feedback.
Head of professional ethics at the society Priya Sejpal comments: "Only the consultation on the changes to the positions of authority has been affected by the technical problem on the society''s website."
The RPSGB representative apologised to those members who have already responded to the consultation.
In recent days, the society noted applications for the 2009 British Pharmaceutical Conference Science Medal were now open. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday March 31st.
