Regional Showcase, Market and Sell events announced

02 Feb 2009

Companies in the East Midlands have the opportunity to establish new markets and gain fresh opportunities to trade with the launch of a set of regional Showcase, Market and Sell events.

Organised and led by Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber, the shows will see ten major firms or procuring bodies attend, while there will be room for an additional 50 firms to set up exhibition stands.

They will take place in the relevant Chamber in Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

George Cowcher, the chief executive of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber, said: "This major programme is a positive response to the business community who have reported falling demand for their products and services and need to look for new markets."

Michael Carr, Executive Director of Business Services at East Midlands Development Agency, which was set up in 1999, added such events provide new opportunities to small and medium-sized businesses.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19004151-ADNFCR
