16 Feb 2009
Telecommunications equipment provider ZTE has announced its
exhibition stand at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009, which is currently underway at Fira de Barcelona, will feature two new cards as part of its high-speed packet access range.
Firstly, the MF645 is a USB television data card which allows users to watch digital programming from a laptop via a mobile broadband internet connection.
Meanwhile, the MF662 is a high speed packet access + card, which provides consumers with enhanced data speeds.
The firm states the need for high download and upload speeds has been increased by the emergence of technology such as mobile television and 3D interactive games.
Zhang Yadong, general manager of data cards at the company, said: "ZTE is reinforcing its leadership position in the HSPA market by announcing two innovative data cards that will provide consumers with a superior user experience."
Exhibitors planning to make announcements at the conference are advised to inform the organisers ahead of time to maximise their audience coverage.
