Civil Service Live 2009 - Clip Ltd

Exhibition stands from some of the biggest names in the Civil Service will be set up at the Olympia venue in London between July 7th and 9th.

Civil Service Live 2009 will see a wide array of different content sessions take place, ranging from smaller interactive workshops on particular elements of policy to larger plenary sessions that include speeches from high-profile figures from within the sector.

Speakers that have confirmed their attendance include Jonathan Rees from the Government Equalities Office, the Ministry of Justice''s director general for business transformation Jonathan Slater and Alex Allan, permanent secretary at the Cabinet Office.

Working groups will cover topics from the ongoing effects of the global credit crunch and their impact on the public sector, the importance of communication on the delivery of policy and international challenges for the UK in the current socio-political landscape.

More than 6,000 civil servants - including ministers, executive officers and permanent secretaries - attended the 2008 edition of the event.
