Producers, distributors and sellers of fruit may be interested in custom
modular exhibition stands ahead of an annual show.
Fruit Focus 2009 will tale place on July 22nd between 09:00 BST and 16:00 BST at East Malling Research Centre in Kent and the organisers have stated that it will be a "spectacular event".
Targeted at those involved in the soft and top fruit sectors, more than 90 exhibitors are expected to attend the exhibition, which will focus on green issues this year.
Exhibition stand furniture will feature the latest industry developments and technology, while seminars and talks will enable attendees to discuss views and network.
Commenting on the event, soft fruit breeder and event sponsor Berry Gardens said that soft fruit is in high demand in the UK.
"Traditionally the UK market is undersupplied with home grown fruit for much of the year," he added. "So there are still good opportunities for growers and the UK fruit industry as a whole."
Ilex Organics will use the exhibition to launch its new BioAgri plastic films, a range of mulching, clear and light reflective products that are an eco-friendly packaging option.
Other highlights include Vines to Wines, a new one-stop information point at the show for those involved in wine sales and production that will feature
exhibition stand designs dedicated to viticulture alongside wine experts including Angela Mount.
Fruit experts Mark Else, Nada Surbanovski and Dr Jean Fitzgerald will be holding Fruit Focus Farm Tours to provide information and advice to delegates, in particular those involved in strawberry production.
