British Ski & Board Show to return with more new features - Clip Ltd
08 Jun 2009
This year''s British Ski & Board Show will be bigger and better, organisers have suggested.
According to organisers of the British Ski & Board Show 2009, it will return later this year with even more new features and maybe more exhibition stands.
The 2008 version of the event is said to have drawn record crowds and more than 140 exhibitors to make its 20th anniversary show a "resounding success".
At last year''s show, visitors could test out ice climbing, have ski lessons and even take part in interactive talk theatres.
Meanwhile, the little ones were catered for with a tiny tots ski slope.
Representatives said: "Needless to say the adrenalin-pumping mountain bike stunts performed by M-A-D Bikes boasting to be the best in Europe. Along with the spectacular big air freestyle aerial displays from Olympic and World champions, were quite simply breathtaking."
British Ski & Board Show 2009 will take place at Birmingham''s NEC between October 30th and November 1st.
Over the course of the three days around 20,000 visitors are expected - from people who have never skied before to die-hard enthusiasts.
Exhibitors for this year are still signing up. In the past Courchevel Ski Resort, Edge Design, Head, Insure and Go, Le Boomerang, National Ski School, On the Piste Holidays, Ski Club of Great Britain, Ski TV, Switzerland Tourism and White Lines Snowboard Magazine have all had stands at the show.
Over the next few months, affairs lined up to be hosted by the Birmingham NEC include The National Graduate Recruitment Exhibition on June 5th and 6th, BBC Gardeners'' World Live (June 10 - 14th), AVEX 2009, International Vending and Water Exhibition (June 10th - 11th) and the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (September 15th to 17th).
