Exhibition stand visitors up 15% at Bubble London - Clip Ltd
29 Jun 2009
There is no sign of the bubble bursting for
exhibition stands in London, it would appear.
At least, that is the case if a recent children''s trade show was anything to go by.
Bubble London, which took place at the Business Design Centre between June 21st and 22nd, welcomed 15 per cent more visitors to its summer event than it did to its winter event at London''s Olympia, Event magazine reports.
Exhibition designers were also in greater demand too, as the number of collections on display at the show rose by 21 per cent to 150. Exhibitors included John Lewis, Bon Marche. Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, among others.
Bubble London proved to be a big draw for overseas visitors, with 12 per cent of guests hailing from outside of the UK.
Lindsay Hoyes, the event''s director, said: "There was a really strong feeling this season that the move to the Business Design Centre had enabled us to move the Bubble London onto a new level.
"We have had numerous enquiries from exciting new labels wanting to take part in the January edition."
Bubble London is the only standalone children''s event in the UK and aims to bring "a new generation of kids'' trade show" to the market.
Held twice a year, the event has grown from having 60 exhibitors to more than double that figure.
