GCLive to hit Earls Court - Clip Ltd
02 Jun 2009
GC Live is set to take place in London next week with
exhibition stands dedicated to the world of public sector information and communication technologies (ICT).
Those with an interest in finding out about new ICT solutions and products and updating their knowledge on key issues are urged to visit.
A whole host of famous faces are lined up to speak at the event, including John Humphrys, Andrew Marr and Ken Livingston.
The exhibition will kick off on June 9th and run for another day of ICT-based events.
A pre-show evening will also take place on June 8th with Michael White, assistant editor of the Guardian, interviewing Ken Livingstone.
"The preview evening is free to attend and will give you the opportunity to gain a sneak preview of the new products and solutions on show at the exhibition - and the chance to catch-up with old and new colleagues in a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere," according to organisers.
It is claimed more than 4,000 public sector decision makers head through the doors every year with the same intention of getting their hands on new solutions that will help them achieve their short and long-term objectives.
Meanwhile, almost half of all visitors (46 per cent) do not attend any other such event, so visitors and exhibitors get the chance to meet thousands of new customers that they may not see anywhere else.
A co-located event - Procurement Solutions Live - will also take place during the exhibition. It will house more than 100 buying solutions suppliers showing off a range of products and services from furniture and office supplies to legal services and eCommerce.
GC Live is the brainchild of Government Computing (GC) magazine, a specialist publication in the field of public sector ICT.
