Harrogate to ''feast its eyes'' on Lingerie and Swimwear Exhibition - Clip Ltd
08 Jun 2009
A hot summer could be on the horizon thanks to the Harrogate Lingerie and Swimwear Exhibition.
Exhibition stands dedicated to the world of fashion will be set up at the Harrogate International Centre between August 16th and 18th as part of the occasion.
Catwalk shows take place three times a day at the affair to display the latest trends and styles.
Last year, the net visitor figure was 1,358 across the three days. Including repeat visitors the cumulative daily attendance was 1,698 - including 719 people on the first day of the event.
In terms of exhibitors, 18 per cent of those that appeared at Harrogate last year were taking part for the first time and organisers said they reported "good orders and serious buyers".
This year at least one special guest is lined up to appear.
Nancy Dell''Olio is making a personal appearance on both Sunday and Monday and will be providing insight into her boudoir chic and new collection on stand A12a.
Mya Blue will also be returning this year and showing the full Valery range of lingerie and beachwear - as well as a new collection of Mya Blue Beach.
Other companies lined up to appear include Cake Lingerie, Fun Factory. Jockey, Urban Nights and Van de Velde.
According to the show''s organisers, because it is strictly a trade-only event exhibitors can "be sure that their investment will be rewarded with very strong sales orders and new leads".
Harrogate International Centre''s eight interconnected exhibition halls offer 16,500 sq m of floor space.
Lined up to appear at the location in the near future is the Chartered Institute of Housing Conference and Exhibition (June 16th to 18th) and the National Floor Show (September 18th to 20th).
