Music ''attracts people to exhibition stands'' - Clip Ltd

The use of music could be an effective way to attract people towards an exhibition stand, new research shows.
In a survey carried out by MusicWorks, nine out of ten (87 per cent) consumers claim that they definitely - or almost certainly - would be drawn towards a stand playing music.
Meanwhile, 76 per cent state they would be drawn towards a display that was playing music ahead of one which did not.
Those companies considering
exhibition stand ideas may also be interested to hear that just under three-quarters (73 per cent) of respondents believe that tunes can play a crucial role in creating the ideal atmosphere at an exhibition.
A spokesperson for the music research business states that as retailers often spend considerable amounts of time and money making sure they play the right tracks in their stores "event organisers could conceive similar benefits where appropriate".
Meanwhile, Lucy Barrett wrote in a recent Guardian article that the use of provocative or controversial advertising can help increase a brand''s publicity and attract customers.
