Top Gear exhibition open to the public - Clip Ltd
22 Jun 2009
Exhibition stands dedicated to the challenges undertaken by the Top Gear team have been made available to view at a new showcase at the National Motor Museum.
Situated at Beaulieu in the New Forest, the new exhibition features a number of the vehicles used by Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond in the last few years.
These include the Stretched Limo challenge, where the presenters attempted to turn rusted second-hand motors into luxury vehicles to transport a number of celebrities - Lemar, Jamelia and Chris Moyles - to the Brit Awards.
Commenting on the exhibition, which opened on June 19th, Adam Waddell, managing director of Top Gear at BBC Worldwide, said: "It''s fantastic that Beaulieu are preserving for posterity so many of the cars Jeremy, Richard and James have built for the show."
Stephen Munn, commercial director at the National Motor Museum, added the team of Beaulieu are "delighted" to be hosting the exhibition.
