Ecobuild and Futurebuild in Earls Court

04 Mar 2009

Exhibition stands, presentations and working groups based around sustainable design, the built environment and construction are gathered at Earls Court in London for the Ecobuild and Futurebuild conferences.

The show began on Tuesday March 3rd and will run until Thursday March 5th.

A number of exhibitors are aiming to make big splashes at this year''s event, including Lotus, which will be unveiling an innovative eco-friendly version of its Elise car.

Meanwhile, minister for housing and planning Margaret Beckett is one of the industry figures speaking today.

"Beckett will provide insights into the future of green building in Britain in a session hosted by award-winning writer and political journalist Matthew Parris," the event organisers explain.

A huge range of suppliers will be present to show off new products, including fittings, doors, windows, insulation, lighting and building management systems.

Meanwhile, the UK Green Building Council is also set to make its first appearance at the event, where it will host a number of sessions on sustainability.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19057969-ADNFCR
