Holding exhibitions regionally ''can be cheaper''
03 Mar 2009
Holding events in regional locations can help firms to reduce outgoings, it has been suggested.
Charlotte Wilson is the chief executive officer of the Pure Events agency and made her comments at the International Confex
exhibition, which took place in London at the end of last month.
She explained that by relocating a corporate show or
exhibition to somewhere outside the English capital, companies could find that they are able to get a better deal on a range of things, such as
exhibition stands, venues or food.
"There are companies who are choosing to break their events up and do them regionally rather than do them as one in London," Ms Wilson added.
International Confex was held between February 24th and 26th at Earls Court. It included a range of seminars, as well as an advice centre and CV clinic, which allowed specific queries to be addressed to industry experts.
