House of The Future exhibition stand to feature at Grand Designs Live

An exhibition stand which will provide an insight into how we may live in the future will be on show at the Grand Designs Live event, which is due to take place at the London ExCeL later this year.

Electrolux, the company behind the exhibition stand, explains it will have four different concept products on display.

Firstly, the Stratosphere is a deodorising and disinfecting clothes rack which can help to clean slightly soiled garments and avoid the need to re-clean them.

The iBasket is a hamper and washing machine which makes use of Wi-Fi technology and automatically gives clothes a quick rinse when it is full.

Sook is a recipe generator which also has social networking capabilities and makes culinary suggestions to budding chefs.

Finally, the E-bag is a cooler powered by the kinetic energy generated by the swinging movement that takes place as it is carried by its owner.
