Maintec 2009 exhibition ''in full swing''

The Maintec 2009 exhibition, which refers to itself as the biggest and most comprehensive maintenance and event management event in the UK, is currently underway at the NEC arena in Birmingham.

Set to finish today, the show''s organisers say it is visitors'' chance to meet some 150 exhibitors, who provide cutting edge preventive and predictive condition monitoring solutions, as well as thermography and environmental safety products.

The event has been running at the venue - which is located around eight miles out of the city centre of Birmingham - since March 17th.

"A recession is painful for most people. For maintenance professionals, it carries an extra burden. With capital budgets getting tighter, maintenance professionals are under even greater pressure to squeeze more value out of existing assets," they add.

Exhibitors who are taking part in this year''s event include Antech Hydraulics, Enercon, FLIR Systems, Jena Rotary Technology and Holroyd Instruments.
