Research wanted for RPSGB annual conference

05 Mar 2009

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) annual conference is set to take place later this year and calls have been made for submissions of research.

Exhibition stands, presentations and seminars will make up the British Pharmaceutical Conference (BPC), which is expected to draw more than 1,000 delegates from around the globe.

Dr Desmond Morrow won the 2008 Science poster prize at the event for his research into micro-needles.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for people to submit their research to the most high-profile pharmaceutical conference in the UK," he explained.

Dr Morrow, who is continuing his research into the instruments at Queen''s University in Belfast, noted the exhibition allowed members of his team to meet experts from various disciplines and discuss topical issues with them.

Abstracts for research must be sent by Friday March 13th.

In recent days, the RPSGB invited pharmacists to make applications for the 2009 BPC Science Medial.ADNFCR-2085-ID-19059502-ADNFCR
