The National Wedding Show exhibition underway in Birmingham

The National Wedding Show, featuring catwalk displays, exhibition stands and presentations, is underway at the NEC in Birmingham.

From dresses and accessories to flowers, honeymoon destinations, venues, cakes and photography service providers, everything would-be brides and grooms could want is under one roof at the event, which began today and runs until Sunday March 15th.

Confirmed attractions at the showcase include a catwalk show featuring designer and high street collections, such as Ian Stuart, Alfred Sung and Benjamin Roberts, as well as Celebrations Bar, which provides a place to enjoy a glass of bubbly.

"So, no more legwork and guesswork - just a brilliantly useful, inspirational and fun day out. Quite simply, it''s the only way to plan and shop for your wedding," the event''s organisers explain.

The event comes hot on the heels of its sister show in the capital, which took place at the London Olympia between Friday February 20th and Sunday February 22nd.
