The Retirement Show underway in Manchester

Exhibition stands, yoga classes and presentations are just some of the attractions at the 2009 Retirement Show, which is currently taking place in Manchester.
Sponsored by financial services provider Prudential, the event is currently underway in the city''s Central venue.
It began today and will run until Saturday March 14th.
Other activities taking place at the event include free health checks - comprising hearing, eyesight and blood pressure tests - and a makeover area where those who are retired, semi-retired or simply planning for their senior years can get expert fashion tips.
"The Retirement Show also showcases a host of exhibitors of interest to retired and semi-retired people, including activity holidays, property companies, charities, the U3A, insurers and many others," the organisers explain.
Other venues around the country are also set to host versions of the Retirement Show this year, including the London Olympia, which will present the event between July 17th and 18th.
