AIC announces smaller companies exhibition

The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) has announced that an exhibition dedicated to smaller firms will take place later this month.

Among the exhibition stands likely to be set up at the event, which is due to be held in London on May 20th, delegates will be able to hear sector experts discuss issues likely to impact on their futures, such as the ongoing effects of the global economic slowdown.

Gervais William from Gartmore Growth Opportunities has been confirmed to present at the showcase, while Harry Nimmo of Standard Life UK Smaller Companies is also scheduled to be on hand.

Delegates will have the opportunity to speak to both of the industry experts after they have given their presentations.

More information regarding the line-up of speakers and matters to be discussed will be made available closer to the time.

The AIC was established in 1932 and changed its name from the Association of Investment Trust Companies in 2006.
