Hubble Telescope exhibition planned

Exhibition stands showing off a range of images taken from the Hubble Deep Space Telescope are set to go on show at the National Space Centre in the coming weeks, it has been announced.
The facility, which is located in Leicester and was the winner of the East Midlands Excellence Award for the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2007, will play host to the installation, which promises to show off "some of the most amazing pictures ever to be seen".
According to the centre: "The Hubble Space Telescope has made some of the most dramatic discoveries in the history of astronomy."
Situated some 600 km above the surface of the Earth, the instrument is capable of detecting light with sensors that are five times sharper than the most advanced ground-based telescopes.
Other new attractions at the National Space Centre include We Are Astronomers, an immersive outer space experience narrated by Doctor Who''s David Tennant.
