Independent Schools Show to visit Battersea Evolution - Clip Ltd
26 May 2009
Exhibition stands dedicated to some of the country''s top independent schools will be set up at the Battersea Evolution in October for the Independent Schools Show (ISS).
The two-day event takes place on October 30th and 31st and will provide parents and potential students with access to over 120 of the UK''s leading independent schools.
According to organisers, at the show visitors will be able to explore day and boarding schools, as well as single sex, co-educational, preparatory, senior and sixth-form options.
The show''s representatives claim it allows students and their parents to finalise their shortlist the easy way - by meeting all the schools under one roof.
Exhibiting schools will descend on the venue from Scotland, Wales, the south-east, London, the north-west and many other regions from around the UK.
Visitors can attend talks and seminars to help them with the decision-making process and learn about fees, bursaries awards and scholarships at the ISS.
The occasion is being backed by the Good Schools Guide and editor Ralph Lucas says he was "impressed by the plans for the exhibition".
"I look forward to developing ideas between the Good Schools Guide and The Next Step to see how we can best contribute to its success," he furthers.
Organisers recently revealed parents are flocking to the ISS website to register for their early bird tickets to gain free entry and an average of 40 to 50 new registrations are obtained every day to help ensure a "sensational turn out".
Bilton Grange and Trinity School, Devon, are the latest schools to sign up to exhibit at the gathering.
Battersea Evolution markets itself as London''s most dynamic dining and event space and offers 15,000 square metres of hard-standing area in the middle of the picturesque Battersea Park.
