Scarborough exhibition stand ''proves a hit''

Scarborough''s Enterprise team was celebrating last week after their attendance at a major European business conference proved a resounding success.

Not only did the representatives scoop a European Enterprise award, but they were also praised for the quality of their exhibition stand.

According to the Scarborough Evening News, the exhibition stand featured "specially made Scarborough Enterprise Rock" and attracted praise from the Spanish and Irish representatives at the event.

Scarborough Renaissance manager Nick Taylor told the newspaper that the response to the stand has been "outstanding".

"We have received many requests to speak to other towns and cities and share our experiences of how we have managed to improve so many aspects of the environment and business life of the town," he added.

The representatives had been attending the conference in an effort to attract more investment to the Yorkshire town.
