Spirit of Summer opens at London''s Olympia
15 May 2009
Exhibition stands dedicated to showcasing the best of the upcoming season are in place for the Spirit of Summer Fair.
The exhibition is held in association with House & Garden and the doors of London''s Olympia opened today to welcome the first visitors looking for inspiration for the summer.
Organisers claimed the exhibition is "packed full of ideas" for summer and alfresco living - from exemplary gastronomy producers to chic accessory firms.
At the event, Grayshott Spa will be offering health and fitness advice and even mini treatments, while leading names such as Vilebrequin, Bill Amberg, Katherine Hooker and Heidi Klein will make an appearance.
All in all, 250 exhibitors will be there - every single one of them handpicked by House & Garden.
It has also been revealed Runaway Coast will debut its range of home accessories at the fair, all of which have been inspired by the sea. In the food hall, guests can meet businesses that have a love of food and drink - and they can even sample some of the treats on offer.
"One not to miss is the Village Workshop''s edible Chocolate Beach Hut kit, [which is] fabulous and deliciously fun to make," representatives added.
Spirit of Summer Fair workshops offer seasonal inspiration with demonstrations and talks hosted by leading experts. From new summer style ideas to Champagne tasting and cocktail making - there is a packed schedule catering for all tastes.
The exhibition runs until May 17th and is the brainchild of the people behind the Spirit of Christmas Fair, which is marketed as West London''s premier Christmas shopping.
Spirit of Christmas'' average visitor is 44 years old and enjoys a household income of £88,000.
