The tourism industry in the south-west of England is the focus of an exhibition taking place in Exeter next year.
Visit 2010 will be held on January 23rd at the Westpoint Arena in the Devon city and companies and organisations planning to attend could benefit from the services of an
exhibition stand contractor.
It is targeted at those who organise group travel and visits, as well as teachers, professionals in the industry and travel writers.
Exhibitors will include event companies, activity providers, attractions, accommodation venues and other suppliers across the region, many of whom may employ modular display systems to enhance their displays.
Organiser Resort Marketing claims that the expo "will showcase the best of the south-west tourist industry" and managing director Brian Cooper added that it is "a chance for everyone involved in this region''s tourism industry to showcase their businesses to a broad range of visitors".
Exhibitors already confirmed for the event include Weymouth Sea Life Park, the National Marine Aquarium, Royal Signals Museum, Splashdown, the Eden Project, French Brothers, South West Racing, Blakes Coaches, Exeter City Council''s Museum Department, Poole Tourism and the Trevarno Estate & Gardens.
Other highlights include two seminars on issues affecting the industry in the area such as the importance of entering industry awards and capitalising on the growing population of so-called staycations.
The Westpoint Arena will also play host to the Giving and Living fair, which will feature around 500 exhibitors and takes place between January 17th and 20th 2010, with an estimated 6,000 trade buyers expected to browse exhibition stands.
