One of the exhibitors at the Outdoors Show 2010 will be HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
The tax body will be appearing at the Birmingham NEC in March to showcase the latest counterfeit designer goods and warn consumers about the risks of purchasing fake items.
Items on display will include counterfeit games consoles fitted with dangerous power adaptors, fake clothing, bootleg DVDs and other items, with
exhibition stand graphics used to support the HMRC''s message.
Staff from the agency will be available to answer visitors'' queries and HMRC national exhibitions manager Liz Challand said: "Anyone visiting our stand will have a perfect opportunity to get information about the many issues dealt with by HMRC, from benefits to fuel fraud."
Running from March 26th to 28th this year, the Outdoor Show 2010 will be held in Hall 2 at the venue and feature more than 200 organisations, including specialist firms and international brands.
In addition to the main expo, visitors will also be able to experience the woodland rambling trails, fashion shows, axe forging, rock and ice climbing walls and demonstrations of outdoor gear that have been organised.
