The Retirement Show 2010 will be held at the Manchester Central exhibition centre in Petersfield next month.
It will take place on March 19th and 20th and is described by organisers as "the unique forum for all who are retired, semi-retired or who just aspire to retire".
An array of businesses of all kinds will be present at the show and organisations could employ an
exhibition stand supplier to help them create eye-catching displays.
The event is aimed at providing visitors with ways of making the most of their retirement and activities will take place alongside the main exhibition throughout the day, including seminars and panel sessions with experts.
In addition, organisers have arranged fashion shows, dance and movement workshops, pilates, yoga, singing and tai chi classes, cookers demonstrations, gardening talks, makeovers, complementary therapies and much more.
Show director Dr Robert McCaffrey said: "It''s going to be a great day out - wear comfortable shoes, bring a friend and plan to stay the whole day!"
Following a previous show, Patt Stubbs of Pension Tracing Team commented: "We thought the show was a great way to show the public our service."
Companies, organisations and suppliers that have confirmed their attendance at the event include Age Concern, Blue Sky Resorts, BT, Eurotherapy, Fortuna Spa Resort, National Express, NPower, Poppy Travel, Retirement Today, Saga, Scottish Widows, Stocktons, the Stroke Association, Tourism Malaysia and Vitamix.
Organiser PRo Global Media will also hold Retirement Shows at the London Olympia on July 16th and 17th and at the SECC in Glasgow on November 12th and 13th.
