Running from the 19th to 21st of April, the London Book Fair is expected to attract thousands of professionals from the publishing sector.

Taking place at the Earl''s Court exhibition and conference centre in west London, the three-day expo is described by organisers as "the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels".

In 2009, the event attracted more than 23,000 visitors, including literary agents and scouts, publishers, domestic and foreign booksellers, library professionals, and representatives of the production, distribution and technical sectors.

Attendees hailed from 112 countries around the world in order to meet directly with service providers and other specialists in the field.

There are a range of stand options available to companies planning to exhibit at the show, while visitors can also participate in an extensive seminar programme that includes cookery demonstrations, talks by writers in the Author Lounge, interviews in the English PEN Literary Cafe, presentations, workshops and keynote sessions.
