HRD 2010 is taking place in April this year at the Olympia in London.

Taking place on the 21st and the 22nd of the month, it is described by the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development as the "industry''s leading people and organisational event".

Companies planning to exhibit at the show could employ modular display systems to ensure that they stand out from the competition.

The exhibition will take place alongside an extensive conference programme for delegates featuring leading specialists in the field of human resource development, with activities including workshops and masterclasses.

More than 4,000 people visited the 2009 version of the event and thousands more attendees are expected in 2010.

Commenting on a previous show, the marketing manager from exhibitor Belbin remarked: "Fantastic mix of quality customers - new and old. HRD really does attract the right, committed professional."

Almost two-thirds (64 per cent) of last year''s attendees were in management positions or above and a poll found that 88 per cent of visitors would recommend the expo to colleages.

It is returning to the Olympia this year and is free to attend, with visitors including those involved in managing training and development, designing learning interventions, maximising the potential of employees and developing knowledge management capabilities.

Exhibitors that have already confirmed that they will be promoting their products, services and operations at HRD 2010 include the Advisory Conciliation & Arbitration Service, Bournemouth University, Circus Space, Exemplas, Impact International, the Learning Curve, People Management, Sundial Group, Thales Training & Consultancy and Video Arts.
